The POLIS envisions a Scholastican who is nationalist, progressive, empowered, and excellent. A nationalist Scholastican is one who is socially aware of her surroundings and who demonstrates the willingness to bring about positive change in her environment. A progressive Scholastican is one who is culture, gender, and class sensitive, innovative, resourceful, and creative. An empowered Scholastican is one who is self-clarified, independent, and who freely uses her natural attributes towards a meaningful contribution to nation-building. An excellent Scholastican is one who bears the mark of excellence in all her endeavors by being conscientious, consistent, and responsible in living out her Benedictine ideals. Committed to the College’s twin thrust of academic excellence and social responsibility, the organization aims to educate the Scholastican community through programs, projects, and activities focused on Philippine economic, political, and socio-cultural realities.

wtf callcenter moment:

Tech Support: “O.K. Bob, let’s press the control and escape keys at the same time. That brings up a task list in the middle of the screen. Now type the letter “P” to bring up the Program Manager.”
Customer: “I don’t have a ‘P’.”
Tech: “On your keyboard, Bob.”
Customer: “What do you mean?”
Tech: “‘P’ on your keyboard, Bob.”
Customer: “I’m Not going to do that!”
